I'm also still tangled up in trying to get a few things working properly but I've only done minor structural damage this time, so we're making progress.

Could I convince someone to bring food?

I really am working on doing it a little less. There were just slightly more urgent things than usual that I needed to work on.

[ The tension in the base has been high the past days, heightened by Loki's radio silence. Something's going on that Sigyn's not made her privy to, and now there's a big meeting coming up with most of the Resistance leaders in attendance. ]

Has it really been that long? I had only thought it was about four.

I suppose hunting parties would be understandable by that point then. Although I really had just gone off to make sure if there was excess damage, I would be the only one cleaning up after it.

[ Occasionally Loki forgets that her dying would be considered excess damage to her, at least consciously. That thought goes even more unnoticed when she's working on something more challenging than normal. ]

As for the last part, I thought if I sent it to everyone, there would be a chance that at least one of you would see it and pass on the message if everyone else was busy.

No time difference, I'm not close to the base but I'm still planetside.

Well enough. I'm coming back with Hodr, so hopefully that might help ease the worry. I do need to sleep at some point after I get back but that's neither here or there right now.

I honestly had no idea how long I'd been away and I only got a tentative handle on what I was doing earlier this morning.

But I know you do, love. I really am sorry. I've already mentioned it but I'll be headed back today. We need to talk about a few things.

I mean you, Hel, and I need to talk. Although if we can get a few minutes, I certainly won't complain.

You are definitely getting more than a few minutes. I miss you too. It's been too quiet without you. [ And just... more stressful. Their lives are constantly in danger, of course, but she'll feel better knowing that her wife is just holed up in a room somewhere rather than having no idea where she is at all. ]

Technically yes! And there really was only minor structural damage. I was so happy about that.

But the thee of us really do need to chat at some point. If only so I can prove to Hel
that I'm alive and don't deserve her wrath

...Please be aware if I fail at this, I'm going on vacation for about fifty years or so. I'll send pictures and gifts for everyone and leave them at an undisclosed location.

[ Loki is not actually excited to go back in this way. But well, as cheerful as she's attempting to sound, she is Worried. Accidentally intercepting private communication logs that mention their general location and who is on base, was enough to keep her distracted for a few days to try and scramble things.

But she can only delay things for so long and while she did manager to create a few little problems for the, that won't push back Asgard's plans forever. ]

However, while he knows Loki is many things, careless and inept with technology has never been part of them. ]

Well, if you've not picked up and moved since the last time we talked, you have half a chance of getting here in about two days or so. This is assuming the need arises, anyway.

You know our doors are always open to all of you either way.

That's good to know, thank you. But I still hope things will not have to come to that.

It's either we're about to get discovered, or Odin's little project is about ready to take off. We're in trouble either way.

Yes, neither of those options are ideal. Though I haven't heard too much about her being prepared enough for the latter to be true.

As much as I try not to engage with her, I do keep an ear out in the channels I have access to and you don't.

Besides, if it was done, she wouldn't keep her mouth sealed on it. I've been around Odin enough to be sure on that.
